Mission

The mission of Marlboro Housing Authority is to provide decent, safe, sanitary, and affordable housing to low and moderate-income citizens of Marlboro County. The employees of the Authority provide the day-to-day operational support for 55 public housing households located throughout the County and over 250 Housing Choice Voucher Program participants living in private accommodations. The Authority’s staff performs admissions, maintenance, property management, administrative, and resident service duties, in addition to operating the Public Housing and Housing Choice Voucher Programs“ Building a Future for Marlboro Residents.”

June 16, 2025:

The Housing & Community Redevelopment Authority of Marlboro County will be conducting a public hearing to discuss our PHA 5-year plan.   We invite public comment. The hearing will be held at 100 Woods Avenue, Clio SC 29525  on Monday, June 16, 2025 at 2pm. Our information and documents are available for review and/or inspection, prior to the hearing, at the location noted within this publication.

June 18, 2025:

ATTENTION ALL RESIDENTS A represenative from North Eastern Technical College will be on site Wednesday June 18th from 3:00PM until 5:00PM conducting a workshop for potential interested future students to receive information on the upcoming semester.

June 26, 2025:

USDA Rural Development will be hosting a Home Ownership Workshop/Seminar on June 26, 2025 @ 3:00pm. This Workshop/Seminar is for the Tenants here at Clio East Apartments and will be held at the Community Room located at 100 Woods Avenue, Clio SC 29525
